The AMF – Automatic Bale Mixer Feeder is an automatic mixing system designed to boost your productivity by reducing the material mixing process duration and replacing human operators with a robot.
This system takes over from the moment the containers arrive, analyzing the contents of the bin using a 3D/2D vision system, and selecting the appropriate pieces to place them onto a conveyor belt. The belt then feeds the pieces into a guillotine, which cuts the material according to the specified amount. Once cut, the material continues along the conveyor until it reaches the final stage, where the materials are mixed.
The machine can weigh, cut, and size each bale according to the formula specifications required by the Mixer.
The robot is equipped to work with up to four containers of different types of rubber, allowing this system to handle various materials simultaneously within a single formula. Additionally, thanks to machine vision, the robot detects and removes the plastic placed between the different rubber bales.
“Autobale” is a robust machine with software based on neural networks, trained by our technicians using more than 50,000 different rubber bales. With the integration of Deep Learning and the efforts of our programmers, this process can be carried out with minimal human intervention.
