In its commitment to technological innovation, Vraia Corp is carrying out an ambitious R&D&I project supported by the Valencian Innovation Agency. This multi-year project began in 2023 and will continue until 2025, aiming to develop a highly precise and non-invasive tool for lemon inspection, using advanced Vision and Artificial Intelligence technologies.

With this system, each lemon is individually analyzed through the development of new algorithms and the training of deep neural networks to detect possible defects across its entire surface.

This project, under file number INNTA2/2023/19, includes the hiring of an AI solutions specialist, whose position has been partially funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) 2021-2027 program.
