VRAIA Corp has led the digital transformation of the tire industry by implementing advanced Computer Vision and Artificial Intelligence solutions in quality inspection processes. These technologies generate a flood of data that requires proper Big Data management to extract valuable insights, which can be used to optimize sector processes and tire quality.
From its headquarters in Elche (Alicante), the company has carried out the INBIDATIRE Project between June 3, 2023, and November 30, 2024: an innovative information management and analysis system based on Big Data for preventing defects in tire manufacturing. This project has received support from CDTI (file number IDI-20230730) and co-financing from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), with a partially repayable grant of €283,517.50, representing 85% of the total project budget.
What does INBIDATIRE bring to the industry?
The project’s goal is to design and develop a system based on Big Data pipeline methodology to automatically identify and predict failures in industrial production lines that contribute to defects detected through 3D and 2D images used during the final inspection of tires with AI and Computer Vision systems.
This Big Data innovation will optimize tire factory production by enabling the automatic processing and analysis of the massive volume of data generated by tire inspection systems. The result will be a predictive model capable of detecting potential issues in real time, preventing defects, reducing costs, and ensuring high-quality production.
VRAIA CORP takes pride in leading this highly innovative and disruptive initiative in the industry and technology sector, developing a new Big Data pipeline structure that will mark a milestone in defect prevention in tire manufacturing.
