In its commitment to technological innovation, Vraia Corp is carrying out an ambitious R&D&I project supported by the Valencian Innovation Agency. This multi-year project began in 2023 and runs until 2025, with the objective of developing a highly accurate and non-invasive tool for lemon inspection using advanced Vision and Artificial Intelligence technologies.
With this system, each lemon is individually analyzed through the development of new algorithms and the training of deep neural networks to detect possible defects across its entire surface.
This project, file number INNTA2/2023/19, includes the hiring of a technician specialised in AI solutions, whose work has been partially funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) Programme 2021–2027.
